Walking this concrete wishing for the rain
Wishing for the rain without a cloud in the sky
Walking this concrete feeling so lost
Feeling so lost so close to your front door
It’s when the sun catches my eye
Strikes my heart every Sunday morning
It’s when I think of you most
And my heart sinks in mourning
I’ve never been back to see you
All alone in the ground
Where gold etched letters
Scream your name out loud
“Don’t worry” said the fear in his eyes
“Don’t worry son, I’m just waiting to die”
I’ll walk up and down these streets
These old familiar streets
But the concrete
Won’t feel like home to me
I just picked Making Maps as my favorite because I had to pick A track. In reality, I have no idea what track is my favorite. This entire album is amazing. I was totally blown away when I heard it and I can't stop listening to it. Richard Spencer
I'm sorry I missed out on this band 'til now. Landscapes sound excellent, a must for any fan of UKHC in the first decade of the century. I'd put them on a playlist with early Gallows, Alexisonfire, Comeback Kid, Dead Swans, Lay It On The Line, Mercury League and HHH. Burning Flag Designs
The proceeds of this extensive compilation of punk and rock go towards the healthcare costs of beloved musician Dan Wild-Beesley. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 21, 2017
There's a clear inheritance from bands like Saetia & Envy here, but Frameworks throws in a whole lot more: a blast beat here, a little ambient horn there. This is a very polished and evocative EP, the instant soundtrack to whatever time period in which you first discovered it. CX
