Waking up so cold
In this bed I've laced with sweat
Dripping in all my “used to be’s”
As I start to reminisce, I start to breathe it in
That nostalgic air
I remember thinking
Those were the days
When the rain couldn’t fall
I remember the deep blue skies
And not having a fucking care in the world
But I know it’s not real
But I can’t escape this
This air has filled my lungs
And I can’t breathe out
This nostalgic air is so stale
How could I forget?
All the horror and all the regret
I’m forgetting
Those were never our beautiful days
They will always be our darkest days
We were living through our darkest days
I just picked Making Maps as my favorite because I had to pick A track. In reality, I have no idea what track is my favorite. This entire album is amazing. I was totally blown away when I heard it and I can't stop listening to it. Richard Spencer
I'm sorry I missed out on this band 'til now. Landscapes sound excellent, a must for any fan of UKHC in the first decade of the century. I'd put them on a playlist with early Gallows, Alexisonfire, Comeback Kid, Dead Swans, Lay It On The Line, Mercury League and HHH. Burning Flag Designs

There's a clear inheritance from bands like Saetia & Envy here, but Frameworks throws in a whole lot more: a blast beat here, a little ambient horn there. This is a very polished and evocative EP, the instant soundtrack to whatever time period in which you first discovered it. CX
